Education & Training
Originally from sunny South Florida, Dr. Rouhizad earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida, followed by a Master’s in Biological Sciences from Barry University. He went on to complete a trifecta of degrees at Nova Southeastern University: a Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine, a Master’s in Public Health, and a Master’s in Disaster and Emergency Preparedness — a particularly timely credential during the global pandemic.
Dr. Rouhizad completed his medical residency in Miami and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He holds active medical licenses in both Florida and Georgia.
Why Aesthetics?
“Medicine has always been about transformation — whether it’s helping someone heal from within or enhancing the confidence they feel on the outside,” Dr. Rouhizad say. “Aesthetics gives me the chance to practice the art of medicine in a different, but equally powerful way.”
“Coming from a hospitalist background, I’m used to being there for patients during some of life’s most difficult moments,” he continues. “That work is incredibly meaningful. But in aesthetics, I get to witness a different kind of healing where self-esteem grows, and joy returns to the mirror. It’s creative, uplifting, and deeply rewarding. It reminds me why I became a physician in the first place.”
