In fact, our aesthetic Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistant (PA) injectors perform all of Natural Body’s cosmetic injectables, including Dysport, Sculptra, and dermal filler treatments (Juvederm & Restylane).

Botox injections are quick, targeted, and usually very easy to tolerate. Your licensed aesthetic injector, either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, will use a very fine needle to treat the areas you discussed.

Most people feel only a small pinch or mild stinging that fades quickly. You may see a tiny bump or a bit of redness at the injection site, especially if you have sensitive skin, but that usually disappears within a few minutes. You’ll leave looking just like yourself, and you can go right back to work or your normal day.

Botox results usually last about three to four months, depending on the area treated and how your body responds.

How often you’ll need Botox depends on your goals, your facial muscles, and how your body naturally metabolizes the product. Everyone is a little different, but most people return for touch-ups every three to four months to maintain the benefits of their Botox treatment.

After receiving Botox, you may feel a little heaviness or pressure in the treated area. Some guests also experience a mild headache later that day or the next.

You may also notice slight redness or a small bruise at the injection site, but these effects usually fade quickly. Most people feel just fine and head straight back to work or their regular routine after their appointment.

A unit of Botox is just a way to measure how much product is used in each treatment area. The number of units needed depends on the size and strength of the muscle being treated, as well as your personal goals.

For example, softening the “11” lines between your eyebrows might take anywhere from 10 to 25 units. Your injector will recommend the right amount to help you get the results you’re looking for.

Many guests start Botox in their mid-20s to early 30s as a way to help prevent lines and wrinkles from setting in over time. By relaxing the facial muscles that cause creases to form, Botox can keep your skin looking smoother for longer.

You must be at least 18 years old to receive Botox treatments at Natural Body Spa + Med Spa. No matter how many candles are on your birthday cake, your provider will always take your age, goals, and skin needs into account when creating your treatment plan.

Botox and Dysport are both popular injectables that help smooth fine lines by relaxing facial muscles. While they work in similar ways, a few key differences can help your provider and you find the right fit:

• Formula & Spread: Dysport tends to spread more easily once injected, which can make it a good choice for larger areas like the forehead. Botox stays more localized, making it ideal for smaller, more targeted areas.
• How Fast You See Results: Dysport may start working in as little as 1 to 2 days. Botox typically takes closer to 7 days for full results.
• Units & Cost: Dysport costs less per unit, but it generally requires more units to match the effect of Botox. That means the overall cost for treatment often ends up being similar.
• How Long It Lasts: Both options usually last 3 to 4 months, depending on the area treated and how your body responds.
• Which One Is Right for You: Everyone’s body is different. Some guests respond better to one than the other. Your injector will help you decide which option best fits your goals, preferences, and the areas you’d like to treat.

Both a lip flip and lip filler enhance the appearance of your lips, but they work in different ways.

A lip flip uses a small amount of Botox to relax the muscles just above your upper lip. This causes the lip to gently roll upward, giving it a slightly fuller, more defined look without adding volume. The result is subtle and typically lasts 4 to 6 weeks.

Lip filler involves injecting hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler, like Juvéderm^® or Restylane^®, to add actual volume to the lips. Fillers can enhance the shape, size, and symmetry of both the upper and lower lips, with results that last several months.
