Denise Dawson, LE, ALP is a licensed Medical Aesthetician, Assistant Laser Practitioner, and Certified Master Hydrafacialist at Natural Body Spa + Med Spa. She provides advanced skincare and laser treatments at our Atlanta med spa location, Natural Body Spa + Med Spa | Smyrna.
Denise earned her Esthetics certification from the Elaine Sterling Institute in 2014 and holds licensure from the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology. She later became licensed as an Assistant Cosmetic Laser Practitioner by the Georgia Medical Composite Board in 2022. In the same year, she earned her Master Hydrafacialist certification from HydraFacial MD, a credential that recognizes her as one of the region’s top providers. Denise brings her expertise not only to clients, but also to fellow estheticians seeking to integrate Hydrafacial treatments into personalized skincare plans.
Before pursuing a career in aesthetics, Denise worked as a medical assistant supporting developmentally delayed adults. Her longtime passion for skincare — sparked in childhood by playing “spa day” with her mom’s Mary Kay and Avon products — led her to research esthetics as a profession. A moment of clarity while watching reality TV set things in motion: “I realized what my next career would be.” She enrolled in esthetics school, explored every avenue the curriculum offered, and joined Natural Body Spa + Med Spa in 2014. Her decision was deeply personal: “I was on my own natural journey,” she says, inspired in part by her mother-in-law, a former nail tech and esthetician.
Denise specializes in Hydrafacials, microneedling, IPL photofacials, vascular reduction, chemical peels, and laser hair removal. She is passionate about helping clients simplify their skincare routines with treatments and plans that are both effective and easy to maintain.
When she’s not at the spa, Denise enjoys audiobooks, organizing projects, and trying new recipes. An Atlanta native and newlywed, she loves exploring Georgia’s state parks (especially those with water) and cherishes time with her blended family of seven children, including a baby boy, two teenage girls, and a grown daughter.
