Natural Body Is Becoming Viva Day Spa + Med Spa

Atlanta, meet Viva. After 37 years as one of Atlanta’s most beloved spa brands, Natural Body Spa + Med Spa is officially becoming Viva Day Spa + Med Spa. The award-winning, women-founded spa from Austin, Texas, is bringing more than two decades of experience, its signature approachable luxury and an expanded menu of spa and medical aesthetics treatments to Atlanta.

The transformation is already underway at Natural Body’s original Morningside Village location, which is getting a beautiful, complete renovation before reopening as Viva Day Spa + Med Spa in January 2027. Additional Natural Body locations across metro Atlanta will become Viva over the next few years.

For Natural Body guests, there’s a lot to look forward to: thoughtfully redesigned spaces, elevated amenities, an expanded menu, and a new level of medical aesthetics expertise — all while carrying forward the personalized care and trusted relationships that have made Natural Body special for nearly four decades.

A Legacy In Good Hands

Natural Body’s story began in Morningside, with the first location of what would become one of Atlanta’s best-known spa brands. It was 1989, long before wellness became an industry. Cici helped make the spa experience part of everyday life in Morningside, bringing massage, skincare and self-care closer to home.

Over the decades, Natural Body became part of the fabric of Atlanta — a place where generations of guests have come for a great massage, expert skincare, and the familiar faces who know just how they like to be taken care of.

When Cici began considering what was next for Natural Body, she spent several years searching for the right women to carry it forward. She found them in sisters Maya and Laurie Aroch and their best friend, Shannon Mouser, the three founders of Viva Day Spa + Med Spa in Austin.

“Natural Body has always been about taking care of people — our guests, our teams, and our neighbors,” said Cici Coffee, founder of Natural Body Spa + Med Spa. “When I started thinking about retirement, I was looking for the right steward. Maya, Laurie, and Shannon have built a company and a culture with the same commitment to exceptional care and long-term relationships. I’m handing the torch to women who will honor what we’ve built while bringing fresh energy, ideas, and investment to Natural Body’s next chapter.”

And here’s a twist no one saw coming. Before moving to Austin to start Viva, co-founder Maya Aroch spent several years working in Atlanta. Her go-to spot for massages? Natural Body’s original Morningside location. Twenty years later, she’s back. Talk about a long time between appointments.

Founded in Austin in 2005, Viva Day Spa + Med Spa was among the first to bring classic spa services and advanced medical aesthetics together under one roof, offering guests more choices and seamless continuity of care.
