Understanding the Different Types of Facials

Did you know that your skin covers about 20 square feet of your body? No wonder it’s your body’s largest organ. Your most visible area of skin, of course, is your face, so you’re going to do what you can to keep it looking and feeling healthy.

Facials offer one of the best ways to care for your skin. But when you have so many to choose from here at Natural Body® Spa & Shop, how do you know which one you need? Depending on your age, the condition of your skin, and your type of skin, you need a professional to match up your needs and desires before you get a facial.

At our 10 locations in Georgia and Tennessee, our team has the knowledge and experience to give you the best option for your skin. We offer more than 15 signature facials, tailored to your specific needs. Learning about the different types can help you decide what to choose.

Anti-aging facials

As you age, typically because of too much exposure to the sun, you can develop wrinkles and loose skin. The resulting buildup of cells can leave you with tired and weathered skin, adding years to your appearance.

We rejuvenate your skin with several different types of anti-aging facials. Our methods include exfoliation to freshen and brighten your appearance, micronutrient technology to increase the collagen and elastin in your face, or noninvasive, microdermabrasion treatments to remove the outer layers of your skin to promote new cell growth.

When you come in to see us, we discuss your needs and goals to make sure you get the best recommendation toward successful results.

Facials to enhance your complexion and tone

If you have splotchy skin and want an evened-out, toned look, we offer facials that bring balance to your complexion. Our VitaSkin™ calming facials contain antioxidants, including blackberries, raspberries, and acai berries.

If you struggle with acne, we give your skin a deep clean to remove dirt and excess oil, and to unclog your pores so your skin can “breathe” again.

Our arctic berry peel or blueberry detox firming facial are great options for nourishing your skin with hydration, which is often the key to a healthy, youthful glow.

Facials for firming your skin

To tighten and firm up your skin, we use hyaluronic acid, a substance your body produces naturally. It promotes plump skin and reduces the appearance of wrinkles.

Facials aren’t just for women, either. We have cleansing treatments for men to soothe any skin irritation you might get from shaving.

Depending on the type, your facial can last 30-75 minutes, and you can count on it being highly customized for your skin condition.

To learn more about our services, and to find out the best facial for you, call us at one of our 10 spas in Georgia and Tennessee, use our convenient online booking feature, or send us a message if you have any questions.

As always, you can also shop for skincare products at our online store.
