Summary

The Spa Leadership Managers primary responsibility is to create a customer service oriented environment. Duties managing employees, spa and medi-spa service scheduling and support, cash drawer maintenance, retail sales and inventory control, and some administrative tasks. Store Managers may participate in promotional programs and marketing initiatives. This is a permanent full-time position. Scheduled shifts include weekends.

Location is in Decatur, GA.

Must be able to work weekends. Hours of operation are 9:00am - 6:30pm.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Attitude:

1. Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field preferred.
2. Two years in team based management.
3. Excellent communications and finance skills.
4. Ability to multi task and manage stressful situations.
5. A working knowledge of windows based programs (Excel, Word Perfect, Internet, Etc.)

Reporting Path

The Spa Leadership Manager reports to the Area Spa Director.

Responsibilities:

• Supports the Area Spa Director in all operations of the spa.
• Instrumental in launching new products and services and leads the initiative in training appropriate staff.
• Ensures that retail floor is well merchandised and that inventory levels are in line with budget and “in stock status.”
• Adheres to monthly purchasing budgets and implements systems for budgetary control.
• Assists in developing and maintaining a clear organizational plan for growth including goals and creative strategies.
• Contributes to the review of all team members through performance evaluations; setting strategies for productivity and incentive programs to include support staff and service providers.
• Proficient in collection of all reports, ability to compile spa and therapist performance ratios, and review of daily close outs securing bank deposits.
• May assist with payroll processing as needed.
• Manage service staff levels to reflect seasonality and business growth.
• Schedules spa coordination staff to reflect daily volume while maintaining targeted profitability goals.
• Communicates directly with the Area Spa Director and the Human Resource Manager on all human resource issues. Integral in conflict resolution process.
• In conjunction with the Area Spa Director facilitates the customer service programs to include: Embrace It! program, Customer Appreciation Day, New Client program, Birthday Card program, and other client focused programs.
• Actively participates in marketing efforts to include attendance at business association meetings, special events, and committees. As well as presenting Partners in Prosperity program.
• All other duties as deemed appropriate by Area Spa Director.
