Natural Body Spa and Shoppe Opens at The Avenue Webb Gin–First Gwinnett Location and new 10TEN® Concept Launched

Atlanta, Georgia – January 01, 2007 – Natural Body Spa opens 10TEN, an enhanced nail bar experience, in Morningside. The location, scheduled to open early February 2007, is the second 10TEN in the city (the first 10TEN opened in late 2006 at The Avenue Webb Gin in Gwinnett County next to the new Natural Body Spa), and is appropriately situated across from Natural Body Morningside, where the company took root in 1989. 10TEN is the first nail bar of its kind in the nation, and hands and feet have never been happier.

The space is designed with a Zen-like feel. Circular visuals of the five elements — water, earth, metal, fire and wood adorn the walls. The care taken to select sustainable woods and materials is evident, from the cabinets to the nail bar crafted with cement imbedded with recycled crushed red glass. Fiery red blown-glass pendant lights designed with a dripping effect grace the ceiling. At the nail bar, guests may enjoy a full manicure or one of 10TEN's a la carte services. Buttery-soft zero-gravity chairs are heaven on the back while feet are tended to.

The 10TEN Experience
Guests relax in chairs fit for a prince (inspired by a design created for Crown Prince Frederick of Denmark) while they soak their feet in alabaster bowls set above the flowing water of the Zen garden. A soak in the sanctuary is part of all pedicure services or may be enjoyed as a separate service.

From a sushi-style menu, guests select from three pedicure/manicure menus including the Signature 10TEN, OPI and SpaRitual — three distinctive experiences and three pricing levels. All pedicures include relaxation for tired feet in the Soaking Sanctuary. Within the cocoon of the sanctuary, a serenity soak is custom drawn for each guest with a choice of milk bath or Dead Sea Salt bath with lemon, lavender or Rosemary while spa-style music calms the mind. In addition, 10TEN offers a la carte services, or "sides", including the Simply Finish Fingers (polish change for $13); Simply Clean Fingers, with or without polish ($8 - $15); and Fingers Simply Glow ($10) where hands are exfoliated, hydrated and massaged, and more.

And, because all happy toes need to be shown to the world, 10TEN offers the latest flip flop fashions by Havaianas – all the rage in LA., in assorted colors and styles. 10TEN flip flops are also available for just $10. Styles will be rotated on a regular basis to keep flip-flop lovers satisfied year-round.

Compulsively Clean Protocol
Hands-down, 10TEN offers the highest sanitary standards in the industry. Compulsively clean is the protocol. The jet-free tubs are cleansed and sanitized with a hospital grade disinfectant, and tools are sterilized in an autoclave system. Nail files, buffers and orange wood sticks, used during the pedicure, become the property of guests who may choose to take them home or to keep them at 10TEN, individually sealed and filed away for their next visit.

The 10TEN Menu
The signature 10TEN services honors the 5 elements — water, earth, metal, fire and wood, each named for a custom blend of exfoliants and essential oils. Guests may choose one of the five elements (or custom blends) for their pedicure service. For example, by choosing the water element, known to release and renew, lucky feet enjoy apricot oil with ground almond, Jasmine and Chamomile. Metal, known for mental power, provides exfoliation and hydration with grape seed oil, Dead Sea salts and Rosemary.

OPI menu offers a soothing service topped off with one of OPI’s renowned polish colors.

The SpaRitual Menu is described as a journey for hands and feet. Products are vegan and wild crafted with organic essential oils and extracts. Each step of the system is made to energize the body’s seven Chakras, one by one.
