Natural Body Spa and Shoppe Opens at The Avenue Webb Gin–First Gwinnett Location and new 10TEN® Concept Launched

Atlanta, Georgia – August 19, 2006 – Natural Body Spa and Shoppe celebrates its 11th Atlanta location with the opening of Natural Body Webb Gin in Gwinnett County. The newest Natural Body is located at The Avenue Webb Gin, an open-air retail development with a friendly pedestrian feel, located on Scenic Highway in Snellville. Connected to Natural Body Webb Gin is the company's newest concept, 10TEN, an enhanced nail bar where guests choose from three distinctive pedicure and manicure menus which include relaxation in 10TEN's Zen-like soaking sanctuary. The nail bar also offers an a la carte menu where guests may drop in for a quick polish change or a "glow" which includes hand and feet exfoliation, hydration and massage.

Natural Body Webb Gin features 11 service rooms to deliver its renowned massage, aesthetic, nail, body and anti-aging treatments. The spa's couples room is aroma-neutral/low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) providing a haven for those sensitive to aromatherapy. The low VOC treatment area is a first for Natural Body and the only one of its kind in the city. All spa services incorporate water, taking to heart the very essence of spa: "sanitas per aqua." Committed to a natural approach, Natural Body offers services such as the Herbal Friction Massages, Aromatherapy Facial, and the Bamboo Lemongrass Body Scrub. Natural skincare, available through retail and incorporated into spa services, includes the spa's proprietary lines, Australian-based Jurlique (a long time partner of Natural Body), and the organic Naturopathica. In addition, the shoppe offers coveted lines such as Red Flower, L'Occitane, Sprayology and Bella Mama. The Blending Bar™, a staple of all Natural Body spas, is featured at Webb Gin, allowing for customized aromatherapy blends for massage oil, lotions and salts.

The area's history and nearby cotton gin inspired Cici Coffee, founder and CEO of Natural Body, to incorporate regional materials into the construction and design of the space. The wood floors of the retail area are century-old reclaimed wood from a Georgia barn, and provide a beautiful setting. The arched doorway leading from the shoppe to the spa features an eye-level circular panel of diaphanous Lucite with stalks of wheat press inside. That same treatment is repeated on the spa's exterior decorative window panels. Sustainable building supports Natural Body's goal of defining "Green Spa" standards for the industry, from the hallway and service room floors crafted from 50% post-industrial vinyl to the more than 50% reclaimed wood in the furniture and displays. This location is constructed at the equivalent of a Silver standard in LEED certification, but will not be officially certified this year.
