Meet Tanya Mouhourtis, Esthetician

Tanya Mouhourtis, an esthetician with Natural Body Jacksonville, FL, entered the esthetics field because she knew that taking care of people had always appealed to her. She wanted to play an active role in helping people feel good about themselves. A native of Ohio, Tanya attended the University of Toledo where she was a theatre and dance major. Tanya danced for many years with modern and West African as her specialty and she continues to have a passion for movement. Her esthetics education came later in Southern Michigan where she attended esthetics school. It was here that she learned the basics of skin science and care. According to Tanya, "I learned the majority of my skills working in a spa environment where I had the benefits of working with great mentors who encouraged me to hone my skills." Read the Article
